Victory for Three Batelco Drag 965 Teams in the 2nd Round of the SWS Championship

Batelco’s three Drag 965 Karting Teams were victorious in the Bahrain Endurance SWS Championship (BESWS) Round 2 which took place on Saturday 3rd December at the Bahrain International Karting Circuit (BIKC).

Three Batelco teams, Batelco Drag 965, Batelco Drag 965 Mechanics and Ithmaar Batelco Racing competed against a very competitive field, with the line-up of drivers including Mohammed Mattar, Khalid Alsaei, Ali Basilar, Hussain Hasan, Rashid Meamari and Khalid Al Wazzan under the guidance of team manager Mohammed Sarhan.

The impressive Batelco teams were victorious in all three categories with Batelco Drag 965 winning the Pro Class, Batelco Drag 965 Mechanics winning the Nations Category and Ithmaar Batelco Racing taking the first place on the podium in the Corporate Category. This weekend’s race was the second of a three-part series. The third and final race will be a 24-Hour Endurance to be held on 27 and 28 January 2017.

Team Manager Mohammed Sarhan said that the three teams were jubilant following the great day of racing that saw them victorious in all three categories.
