Committed towards supporting volunteerism across the Kingdom, Batelco was recognized during the Injaz Bahrain’s annual awards ceremony held recently at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel in Manama. During the event Batelco received the ‘Volunteer Service Award of the Year 2017’, presented by H.H. Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, member of the Supreme Council for Women and Executive Director of Injaz Bahrain and Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, Chairman of Injaz.

Batelco was awarded for its employees’ efforts in contributing the largest number of volunteering hours in the 10^th Young Entrepreneur Programme Competition, which aims to unleash the creative potential of the participants and develop their capacity towards building a better future.

The award is considered a tribute for Batelco’s efforts in supporting Bahrain’s youth and their hopes to achieve great success.

Commenting on this achievement, Batelco General Manager Talent Development and Culture Ebru Pilav said, “On an annual basis, Batelco participates in various voluntary programmes across the Kingdom, recognizing the importance of giving back to the community it serves and setting an example for others on the importance of investing in youth and the education sector.”
