**Prestigious event to take place at Rashid Equestrian & Horse Racing Club in Sakhir**

Batelco, as part of its commitment to sporting events, is sponsoring the 2014 King Hamad Horserace Championship Festival to be held on Friday 14^th March at the Rashid Equestrian & Horse Racing Club in Sakhir.  The day of racing is one of the key events in the Kingdom’s annual horseracing calendar.

Batelco’s Mobile Van will be on site with special offers exclusively available for visitors at the race track, and during the afternoon hundreds of goodie bags will be handed out to visitors.

Batelco Group General Manager Media Relations Ahmed Al Janahi said that in line with the Company’s support for Bahrain’s noble equestrian tradition, Batelco is proud to support the King Hamad Horserace Championship event.

“Horseracing forms part of the Kingdom’s proud heritage and such an event gives everyone the opportunity to enjoy the spectacle of seeing the best horses in Bahrain in action as they compete for the great prizes.”
