Batelco Announces its Support for Bahrain International Airshow 2016
**Batelco Proud to be main Sponsor for Biennial Airshow for 4th Time**
Batelco, Bahrain’s leading integrated communications solutions provider has announced its sponsorship of the Bahrain International Airshow 2016 (BIAS 2016), which will take place at the Sakhir Airbase in the Kingdom of Bahrain from January 21 to 23, 2016.
The 4th edition of the Bahrain International Airshow will take place under the patronage of H.M. King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and under the supervision of Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, King Hamad’s personal representative and Head of the BIAS Supreme Organising Committee. BIAS 2016 is being organised by the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications and the Royal Bahraini Air Force in association with Farnborough International Ltd (FIL).
Batelco Chairman Shaikh Hamad bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and H.E. the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications and Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee for BIAS, Engineer Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, signed the sponsorship contract at the Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA) premises, 19th August.
Shaikh Hamad said that Batelco is honoured and delighted to extend its support to this event which is taking place for the 4th time in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
“The prestigious event is poised to once again put the Kingdom of Bahrain in the world spotlight and demonstrate to the international business community the outstanding capabilities offered by organisations operating in Bahrain,” Shaikh Hamad said.
His Excellency The Minister expressed his appreciation and pride at the role that Batelco plays in supporting key national events and also extended his gratitude for Batelco’s long-standing partnership.
