**Town Hall Attended by Over 800 Beyon Family Team Members**

**Performance by Magical Bones and Live Music**

Manama, Bahrain: Beyon, the parent company of Batelco and the Beyon digital companies, held its first Town Hall at the Company’s headquarters in Hamala, on Tuesday 31^st January. The Town Hall gathering was attended by Beyon Chairman Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Beyon CEO Mikkel Vinter, executive management, and over 800 team members from all the Bahrain based Beyon companies.

Held under the theme ‘Let’s Do Magic’, the event included an inspirational speech by Mr. Vinter, in which he outlined the many achievements of 2022, including the historical launch of Beyon, and the Company’s ambitious plans for the year ahead, followed by presentations from members of the executive team.

The highlight of the Town Hall was the eagerly awaited reveal of the annual Chairman’s Award winners, with Shaikh Abdulla announcing the top 3 winners and presenting valuable prizes. The annual Chairman’s Awards serves to acknowledge and reward team members who have accomplished outstanding achievements while also demonstrating the company’s values. For 2022, 18 candidates were nominated from a pool of high performing team members, selected by the top management team on a monthly basis throughout the year.

The winners for 2022 are in 3^rd place Anwaar Alsubaie – Talent Acquisitions & Culture Specialist, in 2^nd place Essam Almutawa – IT Development Specialist, and the Chairman’s Award 1^st place went to Ali Salman – Project Manager.

Commenting on the occasion, Beyon Chairman, Shaikh Abdulla, said: “I was delighted to address the Beyon family at the Beyon Town Hall and announce the  Chairman’s Award winners for the third year.  I firmly believe that all candidates are considered winners and are a great example of the ambitious and promising Bahraini youth, and that a key component in a company’s formula for success is its people.”

Shaikh Abdulla continued “Employees are a company’s greatest assets; their contributions are of major significance and reflect on the company’s overall success. Attending this event is very important to me in order to show my personal appreciation for the hard work and remarkable efforts of all team members.”

At the end of the ceremony, the attendees enjoyed a show by Magical Bones, a magician and illusionist from the United Kingdom, who was a finalist on Britain’s Got Talent. The event provided a fun outdoors experience, where the attendees got to socialize and enjoy a variety of food trucks and BBQ stations, offering comfort food and hot beverages. Also, live entertainment added to the exciting atmosphere, helping to round off the evening on a magical note.
