• Is the free GO card available for Postpaid customers?

  No, the free GO card is currently available for Prepaid customers only.

• Who’s eligible for a free Go-card

  Any new customer who purchases and activates a SIM with the below listed prepaid packages is eligible for a Free Go-Card.

  • BD8.5 Monthly International Package
  • BD9.5 Monthly International Social Media Package
  • BD40 Advance Package
• When will I receive my GO card?

  You will receive an SMS confirming that you are eligible for a GO card upon successful activation of your new SIM with the eligible package. Visit Batelco’s Isa Town branch or Lucky’s Manama branch to redeem your GO card within 14 days of activation.
  Please present your registered ID card for redemption.

• How do I top up my GO card?

  Send an SMS to 88188 in the following format “Bhbus GOcardnumber Command”

  Example: “Bhbus 987654321012 T1”

• What are the channels I can use to top up my GO card with Batelco Credit?

  The GO card can be topped up with Batelco Credit through our SMS channel.

• How can I check my GO card balance?

  You can check your GO card balance though the card scanners located in the Bahrain Bus and at the Bahrain Bus terminals.

• Will the top up for the GO card be instant?

  No, it will take 2 to 3 hours for the top up to be reflected on your go-card.

• If I already have a Go-card, can I top up my GO card with my Batelco Prepaid credit?

  Yes, you can top up your existing GO card with your Batelco Prepaid credit.

• Can I top up another GO card with my Batelco Prepaid credit?

  Yes, you can top up any GO card with your Prepaid Credit by sending an SMS to 88188 in the following format “Bhbus GOcardnumber Command”

• If I am an existing Prepaid customer on one of the eligible packages, can I get free Go-card?

  No. The Free GO card is only available for new Prepaid customers upon successful activation of eligible prepaid packages.
