• How can I transfer credit from my phone to an overseas number?

  1. SMS the word “send” followed by the number of the recipient to 88944. (For example: “Send 0097143434666”)

  2. Choose the credit amount you’d like to send.

  3. Confirm the amount and mobile number.

• How do I write a number in International format?

  Our service makes use of international number format, numbers without the international prefix number will not be recognized. We accept international numbers with the prefix +cc, 00cc, or cc (where cc is the country code).To get an international number format, you usually need to add the country code in front of the local number. You may also need to remove the leading 0 found in the local number.

• How long does it take to perform a top-up?

  A top-up is usually performed within seconds once payment is made.

• What will the final amount that will be transferred to the top-up recipient?

  The top-up credit displayed represents the face value of credits that will be transferred to the recipient by Batelco. Some countries will be subject to taxes, the credits received will be exclusive from the taxes.

• How will the recipient know that I sent a top-up?

  The recipient will receive a text message informing him of the top-up. Use the message field to send a free short message to the recipient.

• How do I pay?

  If transacting via Phone then the payment amount will be deducted from your pre-paid balance of Batelco account.
