Through a new partnership with BMW Group, Batelco eSIM and connectivity is now enabled for the latest BMW latest BMW Group vehicles in Bahrain.

Batelco is the first in Bahrain and GCC, and amongst 9 pioneer operators worldwide to enable eSIM technology and connectivity for the latest BMW Group vehicles. With this technology, customers can connect their mobile phones to their vehicles, just like a smartwatch. Customers benefit from high bandwidth and low latency connectivity, improved call quality and additionally will be able to activate a hotspot for passenger devices in the vehicle.

With eSIM technology, drivers no longer need to worry about WiFi Hot Spot, or a mobile phone for connectivity; users can make calls and surf the internet in the vehicle. The eSIM is linked directly to the BMW Group ID of the customer which can also be enabled in any compatible BMW Group vehicle across the world.
