General Manager Talent Development and Culture
Ebru Pilav joined Batelco in January 2017 and currently holds the post of General Manager Talent Development and Culture. She has responsibility for the Company’s Training and Development Centre, Human Capital Strategic Growth, Employee Experience and Cultural Transformation which are key elements in supporting Batelco in delivering its strategic vision. As a member of the Leadership Team, Ebru plays an important role in providing a strategic direction to continue to build the digital leadership and professional services for Batelco Bahrain.
In a distinguished career that spans over 20 years, Ebru gained extensive experience working for leading multinationals. Prior to joining Batelco, she held a number of senior management roles serving several of the world’s leading companies including VW Financial Services AG and Deloitte and led some global HR projects in Germany and Italy with the primary focus being on leadership development and performance excellence programmes. Such opportunities have given Ebru a wealth of experience in key areas of the HR industry such as inclusion & diversity, change management and succession planning. Ebru received a Bachelor degree from Istanbul Technical University and holds a Post Graduate certificate from the College of Business Administration, University of Maine, USA and Marmara University, Turkey. Currently, Ebru is continuing her studies by doing a Masters of Art Innovation and Change, through York St. John University. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation Turkey Board and has CPCC & ACC qualifications.
