Ensuring Best Health & Safety Standards in the Workplace

Batelco’s Health and Safety Section, in conjunction with the Building Services Division recently arranged a Health & Safety Workshop at Batelco’s headquarters in Hamala. The workshop was conducted for a group of designated staff, by Ministry of Labour Senior Occupational Safety Engineers, Mr. Hussain Al Hussaini.

The Workshop was held to update the staff on a number of newly issued procedures and to emphasis the importance of health and safety measures in the workplace. Such educational programmes and workshops are of key importance to Batelco in order to ensure that the recommended procedures are implemented and adhered to.

Batelco Bahrain CEO Eng. Muna Al Hashemi said that Batelco, in line with its responsibility for its staff, regularly reviews its health and safety procedures and implements new policies and procedures that meet approved standards. She also extends appreciation to the Ministry of Labour for its support in conducting the valuable training.
