  A Connected Vehicle Voice & Data Plan turns your new vehicle from BMW Group into a smartphone on wheels: You can simply use your mobile number in the vehicle with your entire data allowance.

• What do you need to sign up for a Connected Vehicle Voice & Data Plan?

  To sign up for a Connected Vehicle Voice & Data Plan, you need a Postpaid plan under Batelco, eServices account and download My BMW App, My MINI App or Whispers App.

• Are there any additional charges to activate the Connected Vehicle Voice & Data Plan?

  There is a monthly subscription of BD 7.7; which includes 20GB free data, 200 local minutes and unlimited social media.*

• How can a customer activate a Connected Vehicle Voice & Data Plan?

  The customer can activate the service by downloading the correct App for your BMW Group vehicle brand and request for an eSIM from the Batelco Mobile App.

• Can I use the service in different vehicles of the BMW Group?

  The plan is automatically linked to the customer’s BMW Group ID. This allows the customer to use all functions in any compatible BMW Group vehicle.

• Does roaming work with the vehicles of the BMW Group?

  Roaming option for this service is not applicable at this time.

• How can I receive a call in the vehicle?
  • Once the customer receives an incoming call, the call goes to the device(s) and the vehicle at the same time.
  • The customer can choose which option to take the call from, once chosen, the other device(s) will go silent.
  • During a call, the customer cannot be reached by phone on any other device, the customers mobile settings for call waiting or call forwarding will take effect.
• What are the requirements to activate the plan?

  The vehicle must meet the following requirements:

  2023 Models vehicles of the BMW Group (BMW, Rolls Royce) will support the feature in Bahrain: OS8, OS8.5, OS9 (from 11/2024) and the optional equipment‚ Personal eSIM (SA6PA). MINI will join in 2025 with selected models.
