Batelco HR Management and Trade Unions Attend Meeting
**New Batelco Code of Discipline in Alignment with Labour Law Agreed**
Batelco, in line with its commitment to ensure excellent relations with its employees, is always pleased to work closely with the Company’s three representative unions. As part of this commitment, Batelco Bahrain General Manager Human Resources & Corporate Services Suhaila Alnowakhda recently attended a meeting with representatives from Batelco’ s Trade Unions, namely Batelco Trade Union, Batelco Free Trade Union and Batelco Family Trade Union. During the meeting all parties agreed on Batelco’s new and improved code of discipline that is aligned with the Kingdom’s Labour Law Number (36) of 2012 for the private sector.
“Batelco is always keen to work closely with the three unions for the greater good of the Company and its staff,” said Mrs. Alnowakhda.
“We are very pleased to have agreed on the Company’s new and improved code and appreciate the phenomenal efforts made by all the key personnel and teams involved.”
Batelco Bahrain Head of Human Resources & Union Relations Shaikh Bader Al Khalifa said, “This achievement was expected due to the continuous support and collaborative efforts between Batelco’s management and all three trade unions which ultimately promotes a much better and motivating working environment.”
