The Hive is a technology hub focused on research and development in the field of software engineering and its CEO Ahmed has expertise in IOT and is an influencer in this arena. The best prototype will be presented with a prize at the end of the camp. A number of speakers will also deliver sessions throughout the programme to enrich the learning experience and skills for the participants.
Topics covered during the camp will include an introduction to IOT (the Internet of Things), including understanding the different types of IOT, as well as their characteristics and benefits in order to equip the participants with the skills and knowledge to apply this area of technology in their daily life.
Batelco is always keen to launch such initiatives in line with its social responsibility efforts to contribute to youth programmes and support the growth of technology in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Company continues to support a wide range of educational and youth programmes that aim to improve the digital technology skills needed by the youth and develop their talents, enabling a generation capable of engaging fully in the local labour market.
Such events provide an interactive platform for attendees to exchange knowledge with industry leaders, particularly in the field of telecommunications and digital technology in order to furnish the youth with the knowledge and skills required to contribute towards the achievement of the Kingdom’s Economic Vision.
