The Batelco sponsored Imam Hussain Clinic was officially opened at the weekend, 7 October by H. E. Shaikh Hisham bin Abdul-Rahman Al Khalifa, Governor of the Capital Governorate.

The Clinic, which is sponsored by Batelco, is opened each year during the period of Muharram to attend to the health needs of those participating in the commemoration of Ashoora.

Batelco Senior Manager Corporate Affairs Osama Alsaad, who attended the opening, said that Batelco is very pleased to support the Imam Hussain clinic on an annual basis.

“The clinic annually tends to a large number of minor and major medical issues that arise during the key religious events taking place in the Manama area. It is vitally important to have such a facility in this location as due to the large crowds it is difficult to get access to the Health Centres or hospitals,” he said.
