If personal development is your thing, we believe passionately in developing individuals to grow with the latest training resources and tools to become the next crop of digital leaders. The aim to up-skill employees to meet the agile economy and dynamic nature of the ICT industry we operate in. This is why Batelco established the ‘Talent Development Centre’, a new program implemented to assess the skills and capabilities of employees. The program’s objective is advancing employees’ careers. It focuses on leadership and behavioral competencies to groom employees for upcoming opportunities and aid in achieving the corporate vision, using the Batelco competency framework.
We invest in the youth through our ‘Graduate Trainees’ program, a development initiative that runs over a one-year period. This enables participating interns to acquire the necessary employability skills including leadership development through executive education from renowned international institutes and universities, ICT skills and knowledge of emerging technologies.
The “Grow” program runs over a 7-months period for general employee. On completion, the program participants receive an internationally accredited certification in leadership and management, along with fundamental leadership skills essential for their progression plan. The 9-month “Empower” program is designed for employees at various managerial levels. Participants completing this program receive an internationally accredited certificate that qualifies them for team leadership roles.
