Batelco has recently launched a series of webinars focused on topics related to cybersecurity, including next generation firewalls, cloud assets, converged security and the new standards in wireless data. Batelco has hosted 5 webinars to date covering various topics.

Cybersecurity is growing in importance as the majority of companies collect, process, and store large amounts of data on computers and other devices and need to protect this data and the systems used to process and store it. According to a Cybersecurity Ventures report, it is predicted by 2021, a business will be exposed to a cybersecurity attack every 11 seconds. Understanding this broad topic in order to select the right cybersecurity for a business is challenging, and this presented Batelco with an opportunity to engage with its customers by launching the series of informative webinars.

The series of webinars is being carried out in collaboration with a number of Batelco’s technology partners including Cisco, Palo Alto, SonicWall, Huawei and Sophos. The webinars are designed to give the participants the opportunity to interact with cybersecurity experts and gain hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools.
