**Batelco’s Sponsorship part of its Commitment to Youth and Sports**

Batelco, as part of its CSR commitment to Sports and Youth events is delighted to sponsor one of the team’s participating in the upcoming Nasser 8 Football Tournament. The Team, under the name of Batelco Gunners United is all set for the annual H.H. Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa Football tournament, now in its 8^th year. The event will take place at Shaikh Khalifa Sports City starting on 4 June.

Batelco Senior Manager Corporate Affairs Osama Al Saad presented the sponsorship cheque to Event Organising Committee Representative Shaikh Khalid bin Salman Al Khalifa during a meeting which took place at Batelco’s Hamala Headquarters. Also attending the meeting were Batelco Gunners United Team Captain Talal Yusuf and Team Manager Shaikh Ahmed bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The football tournament is expected to attract a wide following of sport fans, as well as a large number of non-professional talented football players from all over the Kingdom of Bahrain supported by some international football professionals. Great cash prizes await the winning teams.

Such endeavors which promote and hone the skills of local sportsmen are important to Batelco and we are delighted to be involved,” said Batelco Group General Manager Corporate Affairs Ahmed Al Janahi.
