**Key Community Figures Honoured at Major Event**

Batelco was proud to support the Visionaries of Bahrain Awards through its silver sponsorship of the key event, which took place at the Sofitel Thalassa Sea and Spa, on May 3. The event was held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Royal Charity Fund. Proceeds of the event will go to the orphans under the umbrella of the Fund.

The Visionaries of Bahrain occasion brought together the cream of the local business community to celebrate the business visionaries who have helped contribute to the progress and growth of Bahrain through their resolve and commitment. Four key figures were honoured at the event, namely, Dr.Esam Fakhro, Dr.Baheya Al Jishi, Mr. Khalid Kanoo and Mr. Sameer Nass.

As part of the sponsorship, which was implemented under the umbrella of Batelco’s Al Dana Club, 60 Al Dana customers were invited to attend. Additionally, Batelco provided a number of high value prizes which were raffled during the evening. Al Dana Club is Batelco’s exclusive Customer Relationship programme for residential customers who meet a number of set requirements, based on long term loyalty to Batelco products and services.
