Batelco, with its increasing focus on the global business market, has announced it will be the Platinum Sponsor for Capacity Middle East 2017. The event is scheduled to take place in Dubai from 7 to 9 March.

With Batelco’s current global expansion projects well underway, the telecom provider is placing more emphasis on its global partnerships with world-renowned providers to offer end-users an excellent service experience. Such prestigious events offer Batelco a platform to meet its partners from around the world, and discuss ways to strengthen their relationships further.

Capacity Middle East is an annual event which attracts senior executives from carriers, service providers, ICT providers, data centres, VOIP providers, vendors, and enterprises from the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Asia and North America. The event offers a platform to meet and discuss subjects related to wholesale and enterprise businesses, including voice, data, cloud, peering, data centres and content services.

Batelco is proudly sponsoring Capacity Middle East for the 6th year and for the first time will have a stand at the event to give the Company a more prominent presence and allowing Batelco to display their latest portfolio of products and services. Among the products will be Batelco Gulf Network (BGN), the Company’s new cable system which adds to Batelco’s existing global infrastructure and network, with more than 25 Point of Presence (PoPs) around the globe. With a focus on the MENA region, Batelco is able to provide a variety of services to meet customer demand and requirements.

High level attendees will represent Batelco to further reinforce Batelco’s global footprint and capabilities, while meeting exhibitors and potential partners and customers.

“This year Capacity Middle East is even bigger and we are pleased to be a Platinum Sponsor on this occasion,” said Batelco Chief Global Business Officer Adel Al-Daylami.

“We are attending the event with our strongest global portfolio yet, and will work on strengthening it even further during the event.”

Batelco is viewed as a leader in providing global telecommunications solutions as the Company has an established presence in all major areas including the Middle East, Europe, the US, Asia, and Africa. Batelco’s active Point-of-Presence (PoPs), strategic partnerships, and Joint Ventures (JVs) have enabled them to secure a multitude of projects connecting multi-national organisations in disparate locations across the globe. Such a strong platform also serves to boost Bahrain’s presence as a key hub for telecom services.
