Batelco Racing is all set to participate in two major 24-hour endurance races taking place over the National Day weekend, in Dubai and Kuwait. Batelco Drag965 will participate in the Dubai Kartdrome Endurance Championship driven by MINI while a second team will participate in the Gulfrun Karting Endurance Race in Kuwait, under the umbrella of Batelco’s Kuwaiti sister company Quality Net.
The Endurance Championship Driven by Mini takes place over four rounds at the Dubai Kartdrome with the upcoming 24-endurance being the grand finale of the 2016 series. Driving for Batelco Drag965 will be Mohammed Mattar, Ramez Assam, Saeed Al Mehairi, Vincent Fraisse and Joey Van Splunteren.
At the same time in Kuwait, Quality Net Drag965 Racing Mechanics will take to the track at the Sirbb Circuit with Ali Baslar, Rashid Al Meamari, Florian Garcia and Fabienne Lanz taking turns at the wheel in the hope of taking 1st place on the podium following on from Batelco’s success at last year’s event.
Batelco teams have enjoyed recent success with victories in all three categories, Pro Class, Nations Cup and Corporate Category, of the recent Bahrain SWS Championship at the Bahrain International Karting Circuit (BIKC).
The Batelco Drag 965 teams would like to take the opportunity to thank Batelco for its continuous invaluable support. Great appreciation is also extended to Drag965 for its sponsorship of the team and to Gulf Air, the team’s official carrier for international races.
