Prestigious event to take place at Rashid Equestrian & Horse Racing Club in Sakhir

Batelco, as part of its commitment to sporting events, is sponsoring the 2017 King Hamad Horseracing Festival to be held on Friday 17 March at the Rashid Equestrian & Horse Racing Club in Sakhir. The day of racing is one of the key events in the Kingdom’s annual horseracing calendar.

Batelco Bahrain CEO Eng. Muna Al Hashemi said that in line with the Company’s support for Bahrain’s noble equestrian tradition, Batelco is proud to support the King Hamad Horseracing Festival.

“Horseracing forms part of the Kingdom’s proud heritage and such an event gives everyone the opportunity to enjoy the spectacle of seeing the best horses in Bahrain in action as they compete for the great prizes.”

Batelco Corporate Affairs Senior Manager Osama Alsaad added that racing enthusiasts, families and all those who would like a great day out are welcome to come along to see the on-track action.

“Additionally, there will be a number of side attractions to add entertainment for all members of the family and Batelco’s Road show team will be on site with special offers available for visitors at the race track,” he added.
