**Hands on Expertise for Network Engineers**

Batelco, the Kingdom’s leading communications solutions provider in partnership with Palo Alto Networks, recently held a workshop for a number of customers who required hands-on technical training. The workshop was held at Batelco’s Training Centre located at the Company’s Hamala Headquarters in February.

A number of key personnel from each organization along with Batelco and Palo Alto engineers attended the workshop. Batelco is committed to enhancing its customers’ experience by providing more educational seminars, training workshops, proof of concepts and consultations.

Batelco General Manager Enterprise Division Adel Al-Daylami said that Batelco was very pleased to join hands with Palo Alto to deliver such a workshop in order to enhance the relationship with customers and ultimately empower them in the security arena.

“The workshop served to enhance our customers’ knowledge of Palo Alto advanced Security Solutions by offering hands-on training to implement, optimise, and protect their applications, create effective firewall control policies and secure application enablement. This is an integral element of advanced security solutions to users enabling applications without degrading the firewall’s performance,” Mr. Al-Daylami said.

Batelco achieved Silver Level Partnership with Palo Alto Networks in August 2014 and continues to extend the relationship through such initiatives as this training day.
