Batelco Management Attends Capacity Middle East 2017
Batelco Platinum Sponsorship Supports Annual Business Event
Batelco, Bahrain’s leading digital solutions provider was very pleased to participate at Capacity Middle East 2017 as a platinum sponsor. As part of the Company’s increasing focus on the global business market, a number of Batelco’s senior management attended the event which took place in Dubai from 7 to 9 March.
This was Batelco’s 6th year as a major sponsor but for the first time the Company hosted their own stand to ensure a more prominent presence and provide a showcase for their latest products and services. Among the products on display was Batelco Gulf Network (BGN), the Company’s new cable system which adds to Batelco’s existing global infrastructure and network which includes more than 25 Point of Presence (PoPs) around the globe. With a focus on the MENA region, Batelco is able to provide a variety of services to meet customer demand and requirements.
Batelco Bahrain CEO Eng. Muna Al Hashemi said that Batelco was very pleased to support the prestigious annual event and delighted to participate with a stand, to demonstrate Batelco’s and Bahrain’s capabilities in front of industry experts.
“Such high level regional events, that attract exhibitors and attendees from all over the world, offer Batelco a platform to meet its global partners to discuss ways to strengthen their relationships further,” she said.
A number of Batelco’s management, including Batelco Chief Global Business Officer Adel Al-Daylami, represented the Company at the 3-day event, helping to further reinforce Batelco’s global footprint and capabilities and meet with exhibitors and potential partners and customers.
“With Batelco’s current global expansion projects well underway, we are placing more emphasis on our global partnerships with world-renowned providers to offer end-users an excellent service experience,” said Mr. Al-Daylami.
“We were proud to showcase our global portfolio during the event and made good progress with our plans to strengthen our capabilities further,” he added.
Capacity Middle East is an annual event which attracts senior executives from carriers, service providers, ICT providers, data centres, VOIP providers, vendors, and enterprises from the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Asia and North America. The event offers a platform to meet and discuss subjects related to wholesale and enterprise businesses, including voice, data, cloud, peering, data centres and content services.
