Batelco Wins ‘Best Company for Corporate Governance Bahrain’ Award

**Prestigious Award Presented by Global Banking & Finance Review**

Batelco, Bahrain’s leading communications solutions provider has been presented with the Best Company for Corporate Governance Bahrain 2014 award by Global Banking and Finance Review. The Awards were created to identify industry leaders and organisations that represent the benchmark of achievement and best practice in the financial and business world.

Batelco was awarded for its outstanding achievements in adhering to high standards in Corporate Governance and its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility during 2014. The Global Banking and Finance Review Awards honour institutions that stand out in their particular area of expertise. Their research team evaluates nominations to ensure they meet the specific high-standard criteria in order to select a winner.

Batelco Group General Manager Corporate Affairs Ahmed Al Janahi received the award for Batelco from Global Banking & Finance Review Production Coordinator Noel O’Leary, at the Global Banking and Finance Review premises in London recently.

Mr. Al Janahi said that Batelco was proud to be selected from amongst the Kingdom’s many companies to win the coveted award.
