Batelco Organizes Sprint Triathlon for Customers to Celebrate the Launch of iPhone 16
Manama, Bahrain: Batelco, part of the Beyon Group, organized an exciting Sprint Triathlon for their customers to launch the highly anticipated iPhone 16. The event was held on Friday, September 20th, at Sofitel Zallaq and was timed to coincide with the launch of the iPhone in shops around the region. The event was attended by Beyon executives including Beyon CEO Andrew Kvålseth.
Over the years, Batelco has celebrated the new iPhone releases with events that exude energy and excitement, bringing the community together with the latest in Apple’s tech announcements. This year’s event the “Batelco x iPhone 16 Sprint Triathlon” was run in collaboration with the Bahrain Triathlon Association and included an exciting swimming, biking, and sprint course for adults, as well as a junior Aquathlon for kids. The event delivered the usual dynamic spirit and liveliness we have come to expect from such events, ensuring fun and fitness for participants of all ages.
Adding to the thrill of the races, Batelco presented the newly released iPhones as prizes to the winners. Additionally, Batelco hosted a raffle for all participants in attendance, offering them a chance to win the latest Apple devices, including iPhones and Apple Watches. The festive atmosphere celebrated both athletic achievement as well as the unveiling of the highly sought after Apple product line. It is worth noting that the new range of Apple products have a number of features for sports and tech enthusiasts, enhancing their experience and performance.

Batelco’s shops at City Center and Enma Mall also celebrated the new iPhone launch, with the full iPhone 16 lineup on display for walk-in customers, as well as the latest Apple Watches, and accessories. Customers can also order the new iPhone 16 line up from Batelco’s online channels.
The trade in program is available at all Batelco retail shops. Customers can trade in their old devices and benefit from a discount voucher worth up to BD380, which can be used towards the purchase of a new device.
