**Batelco’s Sponsorship part of its Commitment to Youth and Sports**

Batelco, as part of its CSR commitment to Sports and Youth events is delighted to sponsor Red Bulls Kite the Waj which will take place on the Kite Beach at Amwaj Islands on 4^th, 5^th and 6^th June.

The event for amateur kite surfers is taking place for the second year and will see the return of Ruben Lenten, the international Red Bull athlete and renowned free style kitesurfer, who will oversee and judge the event. A household name in the world of kitesurfing, Ruben is renowned for being the most daring and radical kitesurfer in the world.

A number of regional and international top kitesurfers will compete head to head for a place in the grand finale. They will have to use body and mind to impress the judging panel in four rounds of competition to show off their skills and creativity.

“The competition will be very entertaining for spectators as Kitesurfing is very exciting to watch and offers something different from the usual sports available in Bahrain.
